About Bananna

So here I am on a voyage for self discovery, hoping that this blog gives me the opportunity to pour my heart out about anything and everything. To grow and learn from it.

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition.  What you’ll discover will be wonderful.  What you’ll discover is yourself.
~Alan Alda

This is my outlet. This blog is me leaving my comfort zone and venturing out into the unknown, so to say.

  1. Thanks for stopping by and liking my post! I have sons, but if I had daughters, I would wish the boldness that you seem to embrace upon them. Thanks again!

  2. Learning—ALL learning—is good. But hard. Like the learner asking a teacher about Buddhism. The teacher starts by picking up a teapot and pouring into a cup until it runs over and still pours. The seeker tells him to stop, the cup is full already and nothing else can go into it. The teacher says, like your request, until you empty yourself of what you know, I cannot fill you with Buddhism. I am still learning every day (and probably still empty too). Good luck on your journey. Itseems to have had a good start

    • Thank you for sharing that anecdote, I really like it and so very true it is! I agree, learning is very hard and you have to start from scratch but it will be worthwhile – at least I hope so!
